Walnut liqueur, traditionally produced using cold infusion of green nuts and/or other herbs and parts of plants or spices in alcohol. The Nocino is a traditional liqueur, excellent for recreational and meditative use to which nuts and husks give a tannic, fruity and full-bodied unique flavour. It evokes the memory of “once upon time” grandmothers that at the end of a meal or on important occasions would offer it in those nicely made glass bottles, which already anticipated the sensory experience of their content. The recipe, by the Master Distiller, is inspired by the recipes passed on by Luigina and Lucia, ladies of Ciociaria. Its alcohol content is 25-35% vol.
