Gemma Lepini is a young grappa (not aged), produced by the Distilleria Prete, a tribute to the Lepini mountains, obtained from the distillation of pomace, selected by the Master Distiller, from refined Italian red grape varieties (e.g. Cesanese del Piglio, Sangiovese and other selected wine grapes). It is distilled with a copper alembic for direct heat in accordance with the traditional double distillation method with emerged pomace. Its flavour is fragrant and soft despite the alcohol content 44% vol. The 12 months of aging in glass before at the room cold and then at controlled temperature endowed it with fruity and floral aromas and granted a softness and persistence to make it versatile for both meditation and mixology.
How to pair it:
Excellent for caviar, raw fish or as a digestive after truffle dishes, mushrooms and game.
